BBA (Foreign Trade)

BBA in Foreign Trade (BBA-FT) is an undergraduate degree course in Business Management. Foreign Trade or International Trade is an exchange of capital, goods and services across international borders or territories. This course which can be taken up by eligible candidates after Class 12th, focuses on various aspects related to foreign trade involving exchange of goods through Exports and Imports between countries. The aim of this course is to make the students understand the mechanics of International Trade and the criticality of the same in determining the health of a countries economy.

 

The entire BBA-FT course is spread over three years and is divided into six semesters, each of six months duration. The subjects taught in each semester are different and are related to various facets of Foreign Trade. Enrolled students are given an in-depth knowledge of International Marketing Management, Transportation & Material Handing, Foreign Trade Policy, Quality Management in Foreign Trade, Global Business Law and Taxation in Foreign Trade etc.

 

BBA in Foreign Trade is an excellent choice of course for any candidate who is interested in having a career in International Trade. The degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in an area. In present times when International trade is gaining in importance, this course is career oriented in nature, and hence in demand.
